Salaka - Instructor
One of the best-known instructors in Dahab. Salaka (Ahmed Marouf) has been in Dahab since 1994. He worked as a tour guide all around Egypt before going into diving 12 years ago. Professional for 10 years, Salaka has worked at all of the dive sites in the Red Sea from Taba to Marsa Alam, on both daily diving and liveaboards. Now, he's the Manager of Sea Pioneer.
Salaka loves diving. His favourite dive site in Dahab is the Lighthouse, just 10 secs from Sea Pioneer Dive Club, because it has something to offer for all levels of diving experience.
Meme - Technical Manager
A commercial diver by profession, Meme has been a technical diver for 20 years. He's lived in Dahab since 1982, and despite diving all over the world, he still thinks Dahab is the best place to dive. His favourite site is the Blue Hole, but you''ll have to ask him why yourself.
Linda - Dive Instructor
Linda is an all-diving, belly-dancing, horse-riding, desert-loving gal from New Zealand. After coming to Dahab for a short visit, she decided to stay and complete her diver education here. Linda speaks excellent German, so all PADI diving courses are available in German.
Mohamed ElKilany - Dive Master
Mohamed, from Zagazig in the Nile Delta, completed his Open Water - Dive Master training with Salaka here at Sea Pioneer. He enjoyed his time so much he decided to stay and work for Sea Pioneer. He thinks his boss Salaka is the most professional diver he's dived with (apart from Meme that is!). Mohamed has lived in Dahab for 3 years. His favourite dive site here is Golden Blocks in the South, ever since he saw a 12m whale shark there.
Eslam Yusef- Dive Master
Originally from Suez, Eslam has lived in Dahab for 9 years,where his family run a restaurant. His favourite dive sites here are the spectacular, world famous Canyon and Blue Hole.
Kat Spence - Dive Master
Arafa
Arafa is the compressor man, from upper Egypt. Certified as a gas blender, he is the Sea Pioneer handy man, fixing the tanks, filling them to 220 bars for a safe and happy dive.
